Buckler’s Hard
A Unique 18th century village where warships for Nelson’s fleet at Trafalgar were built, including HMS Agamemnon.  Historic cottages, a harbour, woodland walks, river cruises, a Maritime Museum and the picturesque hotel The Master Builders are all located in the peaceful haven of Buckler’s Hard.  It is possible to walk to Buckler’s Hard from Beaulieu village along the river.

The map below shows ‘A’ – The National Motor Museum and ‘B’ Buckler’s Hard.  The journey by road is 3.3 miles.  It is also possible to walk along the river.  It is approximately an hour  walk, one-way.
