A few guidelines to help the weekend run smoothly….
Money
There are no cash machines near the treehouse & cards cannot be used on site.
Bring enough money to cover all your bar drinks as well as taxis that you may need before and after the wedding on Saturday. You may also need money for Sunday morning (taxis/ breakfasts etc).
Bringing change (£5 notes and £1 / 50p coins) for the bar would be helpful.
The nearest cash point is a chargeable one inside Beaulieu post office (closes at 5.30pm Saturday and is not open on Sunday) which often runs out of money. There is another one at the Tesco Express in Dibden (10 mins by car).
Weather
Plan for rain but hope for sunshine! You will be outside for parts of the day (even if it is raining), for example moving between the treehouse, the bathroom block and the bar area. Please bring an umbrella, raincoat and whatever you will need to feel comfortable. Umbrellas can make great outfit accessories!

Internet access
3G signal is variable in this area, depending on network. There is no wifi connection at the treehouse. It is therefore recommended that you do not rely solely on navigation requiring internet connectivity. Standard Sat Navs such as TomTom and Garmin are fine. Our website may not be indexed in google and so if you plan to use its maps on the day then ensure the web address is bookmarked on your phone or device beforehand.
Shoes
Stilettos and kitten heels are not allowed in
the treehouse, as they may damage the wooden floor. Other types of heels are fine.
The treehouse manager will ask people wearing stilettos (or kitten heels) to take their shoes off, inside the treehouse. We have also been advised that in previous weddings many women wished that they had not worn heeled shoes as it prevented them from really enjoying being in the great outdoors.
Dress code
Please dress for a special occasion, a ceremony! However this doesn’t necessarily need to be formal wear. Dress as your heart decides! The bride will not be wearing white and so guests are free to wear this colour.
Confetti
Only biodegradable confetti is allowed at the treehouse. It would be lovely if you could bring flower petals, we will also provide some.
No cameras in the ceremony
We would like you to be present in the moment and to be our witnesses; so please do not use cameras in the actual ceremony. Photos of this part of the day will be made available to you later on.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the treehouses or in the surrounding area. There is a smokers’ area by the ponds.
Dining – will you need a midday snack?
The wedding breakfast will be served around 3 – 3:30pm. A big breakfast is therefore recommended and you may also want to bring a midday snack – depending on how frequently you need to eat. There isn’t really anywhere near the treehouse to pick something up. Food will also be served in the evening.
Evening bar
Please bring cash for the evening bar. We have created our own bar for the evening, so we will not be able to handle card payments. Bringing plenty of change (£5 notes, £1 and 50p coins) would be very helpful.
Evening transport
If you wish to drink then you are able to leave your car overnight in the Beaulieu Motor Museum car park.
Taxis have been arranged to arrive at the treehouse from 11pm to take guests back to their hotels and B&Bs.
There will be a minibus for anybody who is staying at the Out-of-Town residential centre; this costs £3 per person.
If you are driving then there will be a shuttle to take you back, from the treehouse, to your cars in the Motor Museum car park.
